I was raised in the Appalachian Mountains. I moved to Florida in 1985 where I worked in the medical field for a few years. Licensed in Real Estate in 2004, I worked full time helping people all over Central Florida realize their dream of owning a home.

I continued my education to include designations for GRI, CDPE and SFR. I decided to relocate back to the mountains where I discovered the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Alleghany County. I am committed to providing my new neighbors with the same professional and courteous service that helped so many of my past clients.

After enjoying a long career of teaching school in Rowan County, North Carolina, I have relocated to the beautiful mountains of Alleghany County. I am a native of Surry County and graduated from Elkin City Schools. I grew up in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains and spent a lot of time here camping and canoeing with my family. I married shortly after high school and was a stay-at-home mom until my children started school. I have always loved houses especially older homes, so I decided to turn that into a career and I have never looked back. My father's side of the family was from Cripple Creek and Fries, VA and Alleghany County in NC. My mother's family was from Greensboro, NC and Texas. My father was an Air Force pilot, so we lived from Florida to Japan. Years ago, we chose to relocate from Texas back to this area and build our own home. We love the warm, welcoming people and are thrilled to be able to wake up and see the mountains every day. I enjoy helping people find the home or property that meets their dreams or needs, just as we found ours here. It is a real gift to be part of this process. Being out enjoying the land and learning about its' rich history is how I love to spend my personal time, so the fact I can also do this for a living is a bonus.
